This is “I Will Sing of My Redeemer” — and it’s part of my Redeemed Redo collection, where I’m taking some of my older work and giving it a second life.

I have included Before and After photos. The original had some bright oranges and yellows that just don’t feel like *me* anymore. So I traded those warmer, brighter colors for the soft coastal blues, lavenders, greens and creams that have become much more a part of my current style.

I also added texture to several of the larger flowers, giving them more dimension and that slightly imperfect, tactile quality I love.

And there’s one detail that hasn’t changed: the vase itself.

It’s made from an actual vintage hymn, "I Will Sing of My Redeemer.” So even though the painting has been changed, reworked and… well, redeemed… its story is still right there underneath it all.

Maybe that’s why I love this collection so much.

Sometimes redemption doesn’t mean becoming something completely different.

Sometimes it means taking what’s already there, bringing out what was good, letting go of what no longer fits, and making something beautiful again.
