"Meet Me There" from the Redeemed Redo Collection:
 
Some paintings are hard to let go of.

This one was especially personal. I originally created it as a memorial piece, incorporating the hymn “Meet Me There.” I loved the meaning behind it, but if I'm honest, the painting itself never quite felt right to me.

So I kept it.

Until now.

For this piece in the Redeemed Redo Collection, I gave this painting a completely new life. I lightened it, added fresh layers and texture, and transformed those flowers into something much more cheerful. The yellow blooms even developed this unexpected little tie-dye effect that I absolutely love. 💛

And yet… I didn't want to erase its story.

If you look closely, you can still see pieces of “Meet Me There” underneath the new painting — especially in the water.

Because maybe that's what redemption looks like.
 
The original painting held grief and longing. The Redeemed Redo holds a little more joy and light. And now it finally feels right.
