Light techniques are something I'm spending more time on these days. It seems God is encouraging me to use light vs. darkness to share about my grief journey.

This piece, "The Invisible Hand of God" was quite uncomfortable for me to let's say "allow myself" to make. I love textured floral pieces, they are my comfort zone. Can you see how this piece steps over the line and expresses a bit of that pent up anger?

The light under the umbrella represents God's warm, faithful safety in the midst of life's storms.
